Welcome to Rentopi LLC

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Rentopi LLC ("the Platform"), a peer-to-peer vehicle-sharing marketplace. Rentopi LLC facilitates connections between individuals who wish to list their vehicles for use ("Vehicle Owners") and those seeking to use such vehicles ("Renters"). Rentopi LLC does not own, operate, or manage any vehicles listed on the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Platform.

1. Definitions

• “User”: Any individual or entity accessing or using the Platform, including Vehicle Owners and Renters.
• “Vehicle Owner”: A User listing a vehicle for use on the Platform.
• “Renter”: A User reserving a vehicle listed on the Platform.
• “Platform”: The Rentopi website and associated services, including tools for booking, communication, and payment.

2. Eligibility

• Users must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
• Renters must hold a valid driver’s license and meet any additional requirements specified by Vehicle Owners.
• Vehicle Owners must comply with Rentopi’s vehicle eligibility criteria, including safety standards and legal requirements.

3. User Responsibilities

a. Vehicle Owners:

• Are solely responsible for providing accurate and complete information about their vehicles.
• Must ensure their vehicle meets all safety, legal, and regulatory standards.
• Must maintain adequate insurance coverage and provide proof if requested.

b. Renters:

• Are responsible for providing accurate personal and payment information.
• Must use vehicles in accordance with local traffic laws and the terms set by Vehicle Owners.
• Are accountable for returning vehicles in the condition agreed upon with the Vehicle Owner.

4. Rentopi’s Role

Rentopi LLC acts as a facilitator between Vehicle Owners and Renters. We provide the Platform for Users to list, discover, and book vehicles. Rentopi LLC:

• Does not own, inspect, or manage any vehicles listed on the Platform.
• Is not a party to agreements between Vehicle Owners and Renters.
• Does not guarantee the condition, legality, or safety of any vehicles listed.

5. Payments and Fees

• Rentopi LLC charges a 7.5% commission from both Vehicle Owners and Renters upon successful booking.
• Payments are processed through third-party services (e.g., Stripe, PayPal), and Rentopi LLC is not responsible for their performance.
• Service fees are non-refundable.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellation policies vary and are determined by Vehicle Owners. Renters and Vehicle Owners must review and agree upon terms before booking.
• Rentopi LLC’s service charge is non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation reason.

7. Insurance and Liability

• Vehicle Owners are required to maintain additional insurance coverage for bookings, as determined by their listing agreement.
• Renters are responsible for any damages, fines, or violations incurred during their use of a vehicle.
• Rentopi LLC is not liable for accidents, damages, or losses related to vehicle usage or bookings.

8. Prohibited Activities

• Users may not:
• Provide false, misleading, or incomplete information.
• Use the Platform to engage in illegal, harmful, or disruptive activities.
• List vehicles that do not meet safety and eligibility requirements.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and materials provided by the Platform, including text, images, and trademarks, are the intellectual property of Rentopi LLC and may not be used without express written permission.

10. Dispute Resolution

Rentopi LLC provides tools for Users to communicate and resolve disputes. In the event of unresolved disputes, Rentopi LLC may intervene but does not guarantee resolution. Rentopi LLC is not responsible for disputes arising directly between Users.

11. Account Termination

Rentopi LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate a User’s account at its discretion for violations of these Terms, other policies, or misuse of the Platform.

12. Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rentopi LLC is not liable for:
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.
• Issues related to vehicle condition, availability, or User interactions.

13. Modifications

Rentopi LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Delaware courts.

By accessing or using the Rentopi Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
